For a text to be translated
| Translation | Full human translation, checked, delivered in the format of your document, with legal, regulatory and medical references verified against their official versions. This is the standard service. |

| Translation with a statement of accuracy | The same translation, accompanied by a dated and signed statement for which I take professional responsibility. Ask for it when your reader expects a written commitment to the accuracy of the text. |
| Translation checked by a second linguist | When your organisation requires compliance with ISO 17100, the quality standard for translation services: a second qualified linguist revises the whole translation against the original, at a separate price stated in the quote. | Transcreation and copy adaptation | When the text has to persuade rather than inform, as in advertising, a website or a slogan: the message is rewritten in the other language, true to its intent. |
For a text already written
| Bilingual revision | The whole translation compared with the original, sentence by sentence, with corrections tracked in the document and a summary note on request. If the work amounts to a retranslation, I tell you before I start. |

| Monolingual proofreading | Language, style and consistency of terminology, without comparison with the original. In English, French or Dutch. |
| Updates | When your document changes, only the amended parts are translated, using the terminology of the previous version. The changes remain visible in the document. |
| Post-editing | Thorough correction of a software-generated translation that you supply, until the text is fit for publication. When the software output needs so many corrections that post-editing would cost no less than a translation, I tell you. |

For regular clients, I keep a record of everything I have translated for you, stored under your name.
Repeated or previously translated sentences are charged at a reduced rate, itemised line by line in the quote: the saving is yours.
